Hello and welcome!
We are currently consulting with our stakeholders and families to convert to Academy status and join Isle Education Trust (IET). For details about this click here.
Thank you for your interest in our school, we hope you enjoy finding out a little more about us.
We are a school in a rural community and, as our motto ‘Where Young Minds Shine’ suggests, we pride ourselves on the fact that the children are the most important part of our school and our key aim is to support every single child to achieve all they are capable of.
Staff and Governors work hard to offer the children in our care a very personalised first experience of school life. We value each member of our school individually and do all we can to promote self-confidence and self-esteem in all. We have a nurturing approach to school life, being very willing to accommodate individual needs and interests.
Learning should be fun for the teachers as well as the children. We value parents’ involvement in their child’s learning and warmly welcome parents as well as their children into our school community. Our approach seems to work and we are very proud of the standards the children achieve, both academically and personally.
As a kind and caring school we always welcome newcomers and are very happy to show visitors around. If you would like to visit the school, please contact us.
